What is Statement of Accomplishment?
UC San Diego Online will host non-credit courses available to learners around the world for self-enrichment. These courses may offer the option to earn a Statement of Accomplishment after the course ends. A Statement of Accomplishment acknowledges that a UC San Diego Online course offered on online.ucsd.edu was completed with a score indicating mastery of material by a particular learner.
A Statement of Accomplishment is not a certificate. It does not convey any academic credit, grade or degree or indicate enrollment at UC San Diego.
Not every course offers a Statement of Accomplishment. Check the About page on the course to determine if you can enroll in the option to earn a Statement of Accomplishment.
What is included in the Statement of Accomplishment?
The Statement of Accomplishment includes the following information:
- Your Full Name, as displayed in your Account Settings
- Course Name
- Name and Signature of the instructor
- Date of Completion
Each statement of accomplishment is branded with UC San Diego Online.
What are the requirements to earn a Statement of Accomplishment?
